Norval Consulting is an independent energy and decarbonisation consultancy working with public and private sector clients across the UK. The practice was founded after more than a decade of senior technical work on hundreds of energy audits, feasibility studies, carbon assessments and decarbonisation strategies. It's based on the view that the most useful advice comes from people who've done the technical work themselves.
Approach
Useful advice, grounded in real data
Most energy and carbon advice starts from a target and works back toward the operations. We tend to do it the other way around, starting from the building, the bills, and the actual operational reality, then working out what's both technically credible and worth doing. The plans that emerge are shorter than the typical strategy document and more useful, because every action in them has been tested against the place it's actually going to happen.

Energy audits, feasibility studies, decarbonisation strategies and carbon reporting for clients ranging from manufacturers and hospitality groups to local authorities and NHS trusts. Recent technical leadership on grant-funded programmes reaching over a thousand businesses with energy efficiency, renewables and decarbonisation advice.
